The MLB winter meetings have been underway all week, and have resulted in a rash of rumors and moves. Tuesday featured three major moves with Ben Zobrist signing with the Chicago Cubs, the Arizona Diamondbacks landing Shelby Miller, and Starlin Castro going to the New York Yankees.

• The Miami Marlins are asking for a king’s ransom in exchange for star pitcher Jose Fernandez. MLB.com’s Joe Frisaro reports Miami wants Corey Seager, Julio Urias, Joc Pederson plus two more players from the Los Angeles Dodgers if the teams were to make a deal.

• The Oakland Athletics traded relief pitcher Evan Scribner to the Seattle Mariners, the team announced. The A’s get minor league pitcher Trey Cochran-Gill in exchange.

• The Mariners have traded three prospects to the Milwaukee Brewers for first baseman Adam Lind, the team announced Wednesday.

• The Baltimore Orioles have offered first baseman Chris Davis a $150 million deal, reports Roch Kubatko. The Orioles have never given out a contract larger than $86.5 million.

• The Braves signed catcher Tyler Flowers, reports MLB.com. Flowers rejoins his hometown team, which drafted him in 2005.

• The Philadelphia Phillies have interest in starting pitcher Doug Fister, reports Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.

• The San Francisco Giants are targeting several outfielders, reports Jon Morosi of Fox Sports. At the top of the list are Alex Gordon, Jason Heyward and Dexter Fowler because of their defensive abilities.
