Watch: Trevor Story hits six home runs in four career games
Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story added two home runs against the San Diego Padres to bring his career total to six in four games.
Story made history on Wednesday by hitting his fourth home run of the season in his third game to become the first player in major league history to accomplish the feat.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Story is also the fifth player since 1900 to hit a home run in each of his team's first four games. He is the first player to homer in the first four games of his career. The six home runs in four games is the most in the modern era.

The 23-year-old was selected by the Rockies in the first round of the 2011 MLB draft out of Irving HS in Irving, Texas. He earned the starting shortstop job as Jose Reyes is being investigated by Major League Baseball for his role in an alleged domestic violence incident.
The Padres won Friday's contest 13–6.
