Major League Baseball is rolling out special jerseys and caps for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and the Home Run Derby this season, the league announced on Wednesday.
The most celebrated aspect of the announcement was probably these retro-inspired uniforms and caps, which will be worn during All-Star Game practices and the Home Run Derby in San Diego.
The special Memorial Day, July 4 and All-Star caps and jerseys are not new, but Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are new additions. The uniforms and caps, which will be work on May 8 and June 19 respectively, will have the same club logos, with color highlights.
