Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright had the crowd at Busch Stadium excited during Monday’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies, and not because of his performance from the mound. 

The pitcher hit a three-run homer to the upper deck during the the fourth inning to tie the game at 3. 

The home run was the seventh of Wainwright’s career.

The bats continued to come for the Cardinals later in the game, as they went on to beat the Phillies 10–3.
