New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard hit his first two home runs of the season in a 4–3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night.
Syndergaard homered off Kenta Maeda in the top of the third inning and sent the ball over the wall in deep right centerfield.
His first career home run came on May 27, 2015 against the Philadelphia Phillies. He added two more on Wednesday night.

Syndergaard is the first pitcher with two home runs in a game since Micah Owings in 2007 and the seventh pitcher to accomplish the feat since 2000. He is the first Met to do so since Walt Terell in 1983.
