Mets manager Terry Collins will keep Matt Harvey in starting rotation

New York Mets manager Terry Collins was considering sitting pitcher Matt Harvey when the team plays the Washington Nationals next week, but will keep him in the rotation despite his latest struggles, according to ESPN's Danny Knobler.
Harvey was roughed up by the Nationals on Thursday, giving up eight hits and six earned runs in 2 2/3 innings. The 27-year-old is struggling this season with a 3–6 record and 5.77 ERA in nine starts this season.
Harvey is scheduled to make his next start on Tuesday against Stephen Strasburg.
Harvey has never finished with an ERA above 3.00 during his major-league career.
