MLB has threatened to fine Dodgers star Yasiel Puig if he continues to wear his Vin Scully cleats, reports Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.

MLB sent a letter to Puig, telling the outfielder he would be fined $5,000 if he wore the cleats—which have a photo of Vin Scully on their side—again. Scully’s photo does not violate the league’s uniform policy, but the orange stripe on the shoe does.

Scully announced last August the 2016 season would be his final year calling games for the Dodgers. The legendary announcer has worked for the team since 1958.

Puig, who is currently day-to-day with a hamstring injury, is hitting .255 this season with seven home runs and 32 RBI.
