Bryce Harper hit the longest home run of his career on Wednesday in Colorado, teeing off 481 feet to right-centerfield in a 12–10 loss to the Rockies according to ESPN’s Home Run Tracker.

With a runner on in the fifth, and the score 9–4 Colorado, Harper swung at a high fastball from Christian Bergman and absolutely clobbered it for his 21st dinger of the season. The ball left his bat at 106 mph, according to Statcast.

It is only the eighth time in Harper’s career that he has hit a ball further than 440 feet.

Harper has been stuck in a rut, hitting just .190 over his past 30 games. He has picked it up over his last seven, batting .333. Sports Illustrated’s Tom Verducii reported last week that Harper’s struggles may be due to a right shoulder injury that has limited him over the past two months.
