Watch: Yu Darvish hits first career home run
Well, here’s something you don’t see every day.

Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish hit his first career home run on Wednesday night during his start against the Reds.
Interleague play was kind to Texas’s Japanese ace, who took Cincy pitcher Tim Adleman deep in the top of the fifth inning for a 4–2 Rangers lead. At the time, Darvish had not allowed a hit (though he’d given up two runs).
Darvish was just 2-for-12 in his career entering the night.

Great American Ballpark sure has been kind to hitters this season.
We will not make a pitcher home run derby joke.
