Sunday’s results completed the MLB playoff picture for 2016, with the Blue Jays, Orioles and Giants joining the Mets as this year’s wild-card teams. The AL wild-card game will be on Tuesday, with Toronto hosting Baltimore, and the NL wild-card game will be held Wednesday, with New York hosting San Francisco. AL Home Field Advantage Throughout Playoffs
The Blue Jays will host the Orioles in the wild-card game on Tuesday.
The Rangers will have home field advantage against the wild-card game winner in the Division Series. Game 1 is Thursday.
The Indians will have home field advantage against the Red Sox in the other Division Series. Game 1 is Thursday.
