Watch: Javier Baez blasts game-winning home run off Johnny Cueto

Javier Baez belted a solo home run off Johnny Cueto in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Cubs a 1–0 lead in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.
Cueto and Cubs starter Jon Lester were locked in a scoreless pitchers duel through the first eighth innings. Chicago closer Aroldis Chapman then closed the game out in the bottom of the ninth after Baez’s homer.
The shot was Baez's second career postseason home run.

It is the second go-ahead home run in Cubs postseason history in the eighth inning or later to break a scoreless tie, according to Katie Sharp of River Avenue Blues. The other was by Joe Tinker in the 1908 World Series.

The Cubs are looking to win their first World Series in 108 years after finishing the regular season with the best record.
Chicago leads the NLDS 1–0.
