In the final game of his 15-year major league career, David Ross hit a home run off Andrew Miller in the top of the sixth inning of Game 7 of the World Series at Progressive Field.

It was the second home run of the postseason for the 39-year-old Ross. With the shot, he becomes the oldest man ever to homer in Game 7 of the World Series. He is the oldest player to homer in the Fall Classic since Eddie Murray went yard for the Indians in 1995.
