Chicago Cubs outfielder Dexter Fowler opened Game 7 of the World Series with a solo home run off Cleveland Indians starter Corey Kluber in the top of the first inning at Progressive Field on Wednesday night.

Fowler's shot is the first-ever leadoff home run in Game 7 of the World Series.

The Cubs are looking to win their first World Series since 1908.

He joins teammate Kris Bryant and former Cub Frank Demaree (1935) as the only Cubs with two home runs in the World Series.

Why Cubs-Indians has makings of a classic Game 7

The Indians are starting Kluber for his third game in the World Series. He won Game 1 and Game 5.
