Tim Tebow will be on your television screens for years to come.
New York Mets prospect and former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow has signed a multi-year contract extension to remain with ESPN and work with the SEC Network's traveling pre-game show, the network announced.
Tebow is currently playing for the Columbia Fireflies in the Mets minor league system. ESPN announced that his role with the company would not stop him from continuing to pursue professional baseball opportunities.
“Over the last three years ESPN and the SEC Nation crew have become like family,” Tebow said in a statement. “I love the passion that SEC fans bring to our set every Saturday morning and I look forward to continuing to share my own love of the game with fans on ESPN and SEC Network.”
Tebow has been with ESPN since 2014.
