The 88th Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be played Tuesday from Marlins Park in Miami, Florida.
It is the first time that the city of Miami has hosted an All-Star Game and will be the first time in 15 years where the winner of the game does not determine who has home-field advantage in the World Series.
Boston Red Sox left-hander Chris Sale will take the hill for the AL, while Washington Nationals ace Max Scherzer starts for the Senior Circuit.
The National League has won 43 All-Star games, the American League has won 42, and there have been two ties. The American League has won each of the last four midsummer classics, including last year's game by a score of 4–2,
