In this story:
Minor leaguers showed off all their talents during Saturday’s MLB Futures Game, but one pitching prospect specifically stood out after he took to the mound: Brewers right handed pitcher Jacob Misiorowski.
In the one inning Misiorowski appeared in, he threw 11 fastballs, and all but one pitch hit at least 100 mph. His slowest of the bunch was clocked at 99.8 mph.
On the mound, the prospect averaged 100.6 mph per pitch, while 12 of the 17 other pitchers averaged around 95 mph for a fastball.
In comparison to all 17 pitchers in the lineup on Saturday, Misiorowski threw the 10 fastest pitches, along with 11 of the 12 highest velocity. Here’s a look at all 11 pitches he threw.
