Dodgers Pitcher Tearfully Reuniting With His Mom Is the Best Thing You’ll See Today

Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol reunited with his mother, Ysmalia, for the first time in seven years this week when she arrived in Los Angeles to watch her son pitch in MLB for the first time.

While Tuesday’s game itself brought many emotional moments between the mother–son duo, the Dodgers continued to make fans sob when they posted the video of the actual moment of the reunion at the airport.

Graterol instantly began crying when he saw his mother, whose eyes were also filled with tears. They hugged for a long time.

“Look at how big you are, my love,” Ysmalia said when she saw her son. “You’re so lovely, Papi. You’re beautiful, oh my goodness.

Ysmalia also got to meet Graterol’s daughter and wife in person for the first time.

Graterol has been trying for many years to get his mother to the United States from Venezuela, but a visa issue caused Ysmalia to delay her visit.

During Tuesday night’s game, Graterol appeared in the eighth inning and threw just 13 pitches to get three quick outs. He pointed to his mother in the stands while walking off the field, making for an emotional scene at Dodger Stadium.
