The Oakland Athletics received some clarity Thursday on their never-ending ballpark saga, as owner John Fisher announced the 2024 season will be the franchise's last at the Coliseum.

The A's will play at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento from 2025 to '27 until their proposed Las Vegas ballpark is ready in '28. There is also an option for the franchise to play in Sacramento in 2028 if needed.

While commenting on the perks of playing in Sacramento's ballpark that holds just over 10,000 seats, A's owner John Fisher went viral for naming another team's superstar he's excited for fans to watch instead of a player currently on the A's roster.

"Being able to watch some of the greatest players in baseball," Fisher said (via John Shea). "Whether they be Athletics players or Aaron Judge and others, watching home runs out of the most intimate ballpark in all of MLB for the next three years."

MLB fans took note of Fisher's quote:
