Ozzie Guillén Offers Odd Diet Advice to Injured Ballplayers: 'You Can't Pull Fat'

In this story:
Former MLB infielder and Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillén recently dropped a piece of unexpected advice that probably won't get the approval of dietitians.
While discussing White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr.'s recent hip issues, Guillén looked back at his life in baseball to spew some guidance for ballplayers dealing with injuries.
"You [can't pull fat]," Guillén said on White Sox Postgame Live. "Eat right, be careful what you eat, no cheeseburgers? Eh, I remember guys having 12 Budweisers and three hamburgers ... and they played all year long."
Ozzie might be on to something...

The White Sox have been dealing with plenty of injury issues to begin the 2024 season. Sitting alongside Robert on the injured list is designated hitter Eloy Jiménez, who is recovering from a left adductor strain suffered in March.
Fans loved Guillén's advice:
Gosh darn, he might be onto something.
