Braves Briefing: Is getting eliminated in the postseason easier when it's to the World Series representative?

Is it better or worse to get eliminated from postseason contention by the team that goes on to represent your league in the World Series?
The Atlanta Braves were eliminated from the postseason for a 2nd straight year by a 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS.
On the one hand, it's hard to be mad that the team that eliminated you went on to represent the National League in the World Series. Obviously, they were better than most of the rest of the field, if they made it that far, and losing to the winners of either the pennant or the championship means you lost to one of the best remaining teams.
On the other hand, I could see how it's frustrating - in this case, to not only be eliminated by the same team for the second straight year (and it's a division rival that you dominated in the regular season, to boot), but the idea that you may have been better than the other teams in the field and, if you had gotten by that the Phillies, you could be the ones a single game away from making the World Series.
Really curious to know what Braves Country thinks about this - let us know!

Free Agency Look
As we go into our first offseason as a staff here at Braves Today, we thought it would be important to have our own Free Agent Rankings.
Coming in at #11 in our rankings and someone that our own Jake Mastroianni thnks Atlanta may be able to sign at a discount is righty Sonny Gray of the Twins:
The 33 year-old has MLB's lowest FIP at 2.83, as well as the lowest homer rate among qualified pitchers with 0.4 HR/9. Named an All-Star for only the third time in his career, Gray's undoubtedly looking for a multi-year deal that can carry him into the tail end of his career.
