Fan Reportedly Injured in Fall After Diamondbacks Game at Chase Field

A fan reportedly fell from the second floor of a Chase Field railing and was injured following the Arizona Diamondbacks' 1-0 win over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday, according to a recent report from KTAR News Phoenix.

According to the report, the fan was attempting to take a photo, and jumped up on top of a railing on the second floor of Chase Field, reportedly losing his balance in the process. The incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. following the game, in the rotunda near Chase Field's west entrance.
According to KTAR, there is no foul play suspected. It is not clear how severe the fall or the injuries sustained by the fan were at this time.

The man was reportedly taken to a hospital for evaluation. However, details surrounding his identity, as well the extent of his injuries, have not been revealed to the public as of this writing by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The Diamondbacks completed a three-game sweep of the Tigers during Wednesday's game. They will play four more games against the Atlanta Braves at Chase Field before going back on the road for a lengthy east coast trip.
