Since 2020, Dodger Stadium has been under lots of construction and renovations in order to welcome the Baseball world to Chavez Ravine for the 2022 MLB All-Star game.

But since the conclusion of the midsummer classic, there has been some architectural accommodations that still need to be made near the field, and one of them has left Yankees Outfielder, Aaron Judge, with a toe injury.

During their June 3 game at Dodger Stadium, Aaron Judge ran for a J.D. Martinez lineout towards the Dodgers bullpen, a run that resulted in a spectacular catch and a torn ligament in his right big toe.

As shown in the video above, when Judge approached the bullpen gate for the catch, he kicked is right foot into the concrete slab that leads to the entrance of the Dodgers bullpen, resulting in an injured toe.

Recently, Judge was asked by the New York Daily News whether or not he plans to sue the Dodgers for the badly placed construction that led to his injury.

Judge responded, simply saying, "Nah, no need."

Team president, Stan Kasten, said the Dodgers planned on reinforcing the bullpen fence and padding the exposed concrete step at Dodger Stadium, according to an article from The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal that published on June 6, a few days after Judge got hurt.

Injuries are no fun to deal with, no matter which team the player plays on, and this isn't the first time something like this has happened.

In 2017, Former Yankee, Dustin Fowler, suffered a ruptured right patellar tendon after colliding with an electrical box in a game against the Chicago White Sox, an accident that forced him to have season-ending surgery.

Fowler proceeded to sue the team and is still awaiting results from this lawsuit.
