In this story:
Did you get tickets to see the Eugene Emeralds on April 20? It'd be a lot cooler if you did. It turns out the SF Giants' High-A minor league affiliate is celebrating 4/20 in a unique way. They're having a pot giveaway.

The first 500 fans to arrive at the April 20th matchup with the Hillsboro Hops will receive pot. Well, a pot. A lovely receptacle for any plant of your choosing, branded with the Emeralds logo and their signature Sasquatch outline.
Fans were initially confused by the offering.
It is a ceramic object you place dirt and seeds in. Something beautiful grows

Of course, fans in a college town in Oregon would never dream of attending a minor league baseball game under the influence, even if recreational marijuana is legal in the state of Oregon. And if they're playing a team for Hillsboro literally named after the main ingredient in beer, Hops.
There's no chance that whoever designed Hillsboro's mascot was affected by any substances when they created "Barley," right?
@PardonMyTake I'm sure someone said this but you guys missed the Hillsboro Hops with the team mascot Barley pic.twitter.com/6UQekIyPfG

If you can make it to Eugene, the Emeralds have a beautiful ballpark, full of lots and lots of grass. It's a great place to see homegrown players. You could even call them the seeds of the next great Giants team, though none of these prospects are stoned-cold locks to make it to the majors. Trust us, some of these guys can really rip it.
And if you get the munchies during the game, their Dugout Diner has multiple fryers, where you can sample items such as deep-fried corn on the cob. Honestly, there's delicious food all over the joint. So grab your Jung Bong jersey and your favorite plant, and check out 4/20 Night at the Emeralds game. Trust us, you're going to need those peanuts and Cracker Jack by the 7th inning.
And if you're Austin Slater, go ahead and bring your bubbler.
Flawless interaction. No notes. https://t.co/Vp4sTMHIcd pic.twitter.com/w0aumoTNYy
