Bradley Zimmer will be expected to return to full baseball activities in 8 to 12 months. A tough break for the Indians 25-year-old center fielder.

According to Indians MLB.com reporter Jordan Bastian the Indians released the following statement on Zimmer's recent surgery.

Zimmer couldn't get things going this season in his 34 games played. In 34 games this season Zimmer had a batting average. 226, only had 24 hits, 5 doubles, 2 homers, drove in 9 runs, had 4 stolen bases, and lastly struck out 44 times.
