1) Tribe going for a third straight divisional title

The magic number came down to one, thanks to Kansas City Royals beating the Minnesota Twins last night. But, the question is, is it time to pop the champagne bottles today? With a win or Twins loss, the celebration is on for the Tribe.

This will be the fourth time in six seasons the Tribe will clinch a postseason spot under manager Terry Francona.

2) More rain coming

The Tribe acquired Josh Donaldson in the first week of September. Since joining the club, he was 0-7, but the slump didn’t last long as he hit a homer last night to tie the game at two. Even though Tribe did lose but it was great to see Donaldson get his power back. It feels like there will be more rain coming from “The Bringer of Rain.”

3) Clevinger on the mound

Mike Clevinger will try and tie his career high in wins as he’s going for his 12th win. The team will also count on him today as they will go for the clinch today. Against the Tigers, Clevinger is 0-1 this season in two starts.
