CLEVELAND— The Indians (59-49) look to get back in the win column against the Los Angeles Angels (55-56) on Saturday night.

Time: 7:10 p.m.

Starting Pitchers: CLE Corey Kluber (2.79, 13-6) vs. LAA Felix Pena (5.23, 1-2)

TV: FS1

Radio: WTAM 1100 AM, WMMS 100.7 FM, Indians Radio Network

1. Kluber Day

Corey Kluber is pitching on extended five days’ rest, and looked more like himself against the Tigers on Sunday after an All-Star Break knee injection. The reigning AL Cy Young winner went 7 1/3 innings and held the Tigers to one run on five hits with one walk and five strikeouts.

Against the Angels in his career, Kluber is 2-2 with a 3.99 ERA through six starts. He is 1-0 against L.A. at Progressive Field.

Kluber will face off against Felix Pena, who is coming off his worst outing of the year after he relinquished seven runs and recorded just one out against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.

2. Will Trout play?

Angels slugger Mike Trout has missed L.A.’s last two games with a bruised right wrist. On Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays, Trout injured the wrist sliding into third on a stolen base attempt.

If the All-Star slugger feels well enough to play, however, expect to see him in the field. Trout spoke with the media prior to Friday’s game and said if he played Saturday, he didn’t want to DH—rather, he said he planned to play his usual center field.

“I want to play center,” he said. “If I come in tomorrow and it feels good, that's where I'm going to play.”

3. Keeping Shohei Ohtani at bay

The rookie sensation came into Friday night’s game against Cleveland struggling. He had just seven hits over his last 35 plate appearances (.135) and was left out of the Angels starting lineup on both Wednesday and Thursday against Tampa.

Ohtani brought the fireworks against Cleveland however, launching a two-run homer over the left field wall in the first inning. He followed that up with a solo homer in the third inning, crushing a Mike Clevinger four-seam fastball 443 feet to center field.

Ohtani finished Friday’s game 4-for-5 from the plate (a new single-game high) with three RBI. Against Cleveland this season, Ohtani is 9-for-14 against Cleveland (.643). Postgame on Friday, Ohtani said there isn't one common thing he has noticed this year against Cleveland.

"There's nothing in particular," he said through a translator. "The Indians are a very good ball club and we're going to score as many runs as we can. That's the goal."

Needless to say, the Tribe pitching staff will need to try and find a way to contain him on Saturday.
