Watch: Turner Launches First Home Run For Philadelphia Phillies

In this story:
Trea Turner finally has his first home run as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. It only took until the 19th game of the 2023 MLB season.
The star shortstop had an incredible World Baseball Classic, but that power disappeared at the start of the regular season. Turner has still been outstanding at the plate, on the base paths and on the field.
Still, it was a good sign to see him hit one over the fence on Wednesday.
Turner's first home run travelled 379 feet, left the bat at 104.8-mph and had a launch angle of 19 degrees. It also gave the Phillies an early lead at the time.
However, that lead was erased in the bottom of the first when Andrew Vaughn launched a two-run home run off of Philadelphia starter Taijuan Walker for the 2-1 lead.
Take a look below to see Trea Turner's first home run with his new club.
