Red Sox Make Roster Change Just Hours Before Sunday Matchup With Philadelphia Phillies

In this story:
The Boston Red Sox have made a roster move ahead of their series finale with the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. The Red Sox have placed second baseman Christian Arroyo Arroyo on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain.
The team then recalled Bobby Dalbec from Triple-A Worcester to fill his spot on the 26-man roster.
Arroyo has been quite good for the Red Sox lately and was particularly great on Saturday as the Phillies fell to Boston 7-4.
The Red Sox are currently on an eight-game win streak so mixing up the roster, even just a bit, could pose as an advantage to Philadelphia who is looking to pull up from a six-game tailspin.
Dalbec has seen some MLB action this season in April, but is not of the same caliber of Arroyo. The Phillies need to take full advantage of any shifts the Red Sox mat be facing on Sunday.
