Bryce Harper Gives Incredible Gift to Yoshida, His Biggest Red Sox Fan

In this story:
Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper has a massive fan. That's not unusual to hear when you're talking about the 2021 National League MVP.
But it is a bit odd when that superfan happens to be breakout rookie Masataka Yoshida of the Boston Red Sox.
Yoshida wore the number 34 while playing in Japan and his dog's name is even Harper.
Bluntly put, he is just as big of a Bryce Harper fan as anyone in Philadelphia.
Harper and Yoshida got to meet before Saturday's game at Citizens Bank Park in the second game of three.
The MVP gifted two bats to Yoshida, one of which was used in the National League Championship Series last season and another custom bat with his face on it.
Yoshida also received signed cleats.
It was an incredible moment for Yoshida who is currently tearing it up for Boston to meet his idol and then get to take the field against him.
