Despite Solid, Consistent Week the Philadelphia Phillies Fall in MLB Power Rankings

In this story:
The Philadelphia Phillies slipped in MLB.com's latest power rankings from the number 20 spot to 21.
It's hard to understand why the Phillies fell after going 5-2 on the week while also displaying a consistency at the plate and on the mound that we have yet to see this season from the reigning National League champions.
Still, power rankings don't mean much other than bragging rights. But when a team like Phillies is surging, any type of acknowledgment is good. Despite a tough start to the 2023 MLB season, Philadelphia now sits just one game under .500 and has started to find it's identity.
Furthermore, the returns of Bryce Harper and Ranger Suarez are rapidly approaching which should give this team a huge boost.
The Phillies will have a tough week ahead of them but it is an opportunity to prove they are not a bottom-10 team in baseball. They will face the Seattle Mariners with a three-game series beginning on Tuesday. Then they will travel and face the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park over the weekend for a 2022 World Series rematch.
This is where they can make their money and show themselves and their fans that they aren't to be written off.
