In this story:

Philadelphia Phillies legend John Kruk is known to be an animated, opinionated and hilarious character. From his time on the field to his time in the booth, Kruk has never backed down from sharing his honest thoughts on a subject.

It's what has endeared him to the Philadelphia community for so long.

On Wednesday, it was no different when the Phillies were taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks.

During Philadelphia's 6-5 win, Kruk shared his thoughts on air about the new rule changes MLB has imposed this season. It was a can't miss in typical Kruk fashion.

"Ah dear crap almighty!" exclaimed Kruk. "What a joke! What a circus this game's turned into! What the hell's Kimbrel supposed to do? This is a joke... keep making up rules until no one knows what's going on."

For the most part, the new rule changes have been welcomed by players and fans. It creates for more action in a shorter period of time.

It makes for a more watchable product and it is allowing for new fans to get into the game at a higher rate.

But the new rules also have their detractors. Kruk, known for being as old school as they come (except when he puts mayo on a cheesesteak), falls into that category.
