Reds Officially Invite Eight Players to Major League Spring Training

Cincinnati made multiple moves on Thursday.

CINCINNATI — The Reds officially invited eight players to Major League spring training on Thursday afternoon, including four right handed pitchers. 

They invited right-hander Julian Aguiar, right-hander Chase Petty, right-hander Rhett Lowder, right-hander Zach Maxwell, catcher Michael Trautwein, infielder Tyler Callihan, shortstop Edwin Arroyo and outfielder Blake Dunn.

Cincinnati also agreed to one-year contracts to avoid arbitration with Tejay Antone, Jake Fraley, Lucas Sims, Tyler Stephenson and Alex Young. Get details about all five contracts, plus the latest on Jonathan India and the Reds going to arbitration here.
