CINCINNATI — Rece Hinds is one of the Reds' top prospects, but there are times when he flies under the radar. The 6-4, 215 pound prospect made his Triple-A debut on Friday night and showed everyone what he could do at the plate.

Hinds hit a home run in the sixth inning of Friday night's matchup against the Indianapolis Indians.

He posted a .269 batting average with 23 home runs and 98 RBI in Double-A Chatanooga last season.

The 23-year-old has experience in the outfield and at third base. The former second round pick has plenty of power and it was on full display in his Triple-A debut.
