MLB Playoffs: A's Beat White Sox, Advance to ALDS
The Oakland A’s held on and defeated the Chicago White Sox 6-4 on Thursday in Game 3 of the AL Central Wildcard Round. They will now advance to the American League Divisional Series and face the Houston Astro's in Southern California on Monday.
The A’s were able to break the streak of 9 consecutive losses in winner-takes-all games and it all came down to Liam Hendriks. He threw 49 pitchers on Wednesday and then came back on 0 days rest and had a 1 inning save. Does Hendricks and the A’s pitching staff, in general, need to alter their approach against Houston’s Lineup?
Sports Illustrated host Kaitlin O'Toole is joined by John Hickey from Inside The Athletics for insight.
