Soszynski: I'll overhelm Primm at 'TUF' finale

Despite falling just short of making it to the finals of "The Ultimate Fighter" season 8, Team Quest member Krzysztof Soszynski looks forward to his finale match-up against former housemate Shane Primm on Saturday night.

When the taping for the reality show ended, only four fighters knew for sure that they would be appearing on the finale show in December, but according to Soszynski, the UFC made it clear that any number of them could be brought back to appear on the undercard for the show.

A few weeks ago Soszynski got the call and now he will face Shane Primm in a light heavyweight contest, but despite living with his opponent for several weeks, the former IFL heavyweight says he still doesn't know much about him.

"I didn't really see too much of Shane because his first fight was about a minute and a half long and he won by rear naked choke. His second fight was against Eliot Marshall and he lost in 1:30 with a rear naked choke, so it doesn't give me much to look at. He was on the other team, so I didn't get to see him too much training," Soszynski told MMAWeekly.com.

On paper, Primm comes in as a heavy underdog having only barely tasted professional competition as an MMA fighter, but Soszynski feels he still has ways to win and he will come prepared.

"He does have a little bit of a reach on me, a little bit of height on me, but I think with my experience -- the fact that I fought a lot tougher fighters; he's only had two professional fights before -- I think I'm just going to overwhelm him with experience and pressure and he's going to finally break," he explained.

The pressure will surely be on, as the UFC has never made it a secret that to stay in the promotion you have to perform, and Soszynski takes that sentiment to heart.

"I think this is the fight that will make or break my career right here," he said. "If I don't put in the performance that I'm expected to put in, I most likely will not be back with the UFC. If I put in the performance that I'm expected to put, then I believe you will see me in the UFC again very soon."

Krzysztof Soszynski will get his chance at redemption when he faces fellow TUF 8 alum Shane Primm at The Ultimate Fighter 8 finale show on Saturday night.
