UFC Women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey spoke on SI Now today about her mindset during fights.

"I'm completely emotionless when I fight," Rousey said. "It's like, I'm completely in the present and I have no emotions or opinions about anything. It's really just, I'm only observing things and making decisions, and there's no five minutes to go or five minutes from now.

"It's just right now, and what's happening right now. A lot of times I don't even remember what happened, because so much of my brain is used taking in information and deciding what to do that I don't think I have the energy to record. I'm just on play."

Rousey (11-0), who was profiled in a recent Sports Illustrated cover story, needed only 14 seconds to defeat Cat Zingano in a title bout earlier this year.

Rousey will face Bethe Correia (9-0) of Brazil on Aug. 1 in Rio de Janeiro.
