As expected, Ronda Rousey will not fight at UFC 200 in July, UFC president Dana White told Yahoo! Sports on Tuesday.
Rousey will star in the film “Roadhouse,” and asked for time off due to a scheduling change.
“The filming of the movie got pushed back,” White said. “he could do both, but the question is, should she do both? She could do both, but why should she? The filming is in a time frame where she’d finish before 200, but it would be cutting it too close.”
Rousey lost her first career match, and her bantamweight title on Nov. 14 against Holly Holm on Nov. 14. Holm will fight one more time before facing Rousey in a rematch later this year.
