If Miesha Tate gets her way, the highly anticipated rematch between Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey will not be with the bantamweight title belt on the line.

At UFC 196 on Saturday, Holm will defend the title she stripped from Rousey in a fight Rousey has said she is rooting for Holm to win.

“If that’s what she wants, sorry, but I’m going to ruin that for her,” Tate said, according to USA Today. “If they want to make that rematch happen, that’s how I see it going down because on Saturday I’m going to go in there, and I’m confident that I’m going to win the belt.

“So they’re definitely going to have to adjust the game plan. I would like to see Holly and Ronda fight again, but it just may not be for the belt.”

UFC president Dana White said in February that Rousey will face the winner of the Holm-Tate fight, most likely in November.
