Ex-UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo killed in hit-and-run

Former UFC fighter Ryan Jimmo was killed in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning in Edmonton, according to CBC News.
According to police, Jimmo, 34, was involved in an altercation with another driver around 2:15 a.m. when he approached the other vehicle on foot. The suspect vehicle, which had at least two male occupants, then accelerated, hitting Jimmo before fleeing the scene.
Police are currently searching for the suspects in the incident.
Jimmo is most known for his seven-second knockout of Anthony Perosh at UFC 149.
Members of the UFC took to Twitter after the news to mourn Jimmo’s passing.

Jimmo last fought in 2015 and had a 3–4 record during his time in the UFC.
