How to watch McGregor vs. Alvarez, all fights on NYC's historic UFC 205 card
Watching a UFC pay-per-view event isn’t as simple as tuning into a channel and enjoying, the card will change channels twice during the event.
The first portion of the card streams exclusively on Fight Pass at 6:30 p.m. ET, an online streaming service and library of video, similar to the WWE Network. This portion of the card hosts three fights, including Jim Miller and Liz Carmouche, the first woman to challenge Ronda Rousey under the UFC banner.
The second portion of the card is aired on Fox Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET. Four fights are scheduled for this portion of the card. Former lightweight champion and New Jersey native Frankie Edgar faces Jeremy Stephens. Former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans makes his middleweight debut against Tim Kennedy. KhabibNurmagomedov, an undefeated fighter that Dana White originally said would fight Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight belt, fights Michael Johnson.

Then the main card, which airs exclusively on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET. This portion of the card features six marquee fights, three of which are for title belts. Lightweight champion Alvarez defends his strap against featherweight champion Conor McGregor in a super fight. Welterweight champion TyronWoodley faces Stephen Thompson and strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk faces KarolinaKowalkiewicz.
This part of the card can be ordered through a variety of outlets, including your television provider. It can also be streamed on YouTube and UFC Fight Pass, however both options require viewers to pay, like they would on television.
