Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz will meet in a UFC 244 main event at Madison Square Garden in New York on Saturday night.

Masvidal (34–13) enters the bout coming off the fastest stoppage in UFC history after he knocked out Ben Askren in five seconds in July. Diaz (20–11) returned from a three-year absence in August to beat former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis by unanimous decision. Masvidal and Diaz will fight for the BMF belt created specifically for this event. 

The co-main event features Kelvin Gastelum facing Darren Till, who will make his middleweight debut.
