Now that golf fans have had a few weeks to digest the Tiger Woods scandal, it's time to face the reality of a Tiger-less tour for a large chunk of 2010. But golf fans still have a reason to follow the sport and that person's name is Phil MickelsonLauren Thompson, who hosts a show on The Golf Channel. No, this is not the same Lauren Thompson who SI.com featured as a Cheerleader of the Week a couple years back. But it is the Lauren Thompson who used to work as an interviewer for TNA Wrestling. Speaking of TNA, you really need to check out the hotness that is Lacey Von Erichof the famous Von Erich wrestling family.

Comedy.com has compiled a solid list of "things that made sports awesome in 2009." I can't say enough good things about the George Brett auto-tune video. It should win an Oscar.

Why We Love Sports

This is a couple days late, but Carrie Underwoodis now engaged to Ottawa Senators forward Mike Fisher. Here's what I don't get: Last year's Outback Bowl between Iowa and South Carolina got a higher rating than the NHL Winter Classic at Wrigley Field. Yet somehow these players manage to score hotties such as Elisha Cuthbert, Willa Ford, Hillary Duff and D.J. TannerCandace Cameron. Someone needs to look further into this phenomenon.

Fisher's Great Catch

Joe Namath might need to keep his dogs in check. The NFL legend is being sued by a UPS driver after his three dogs allegedly attacked the driver while making a delivery to Namath's Florida home. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any good pics of Namath with a dog. I did find shot of him posing on the beach with some hotties and putting on his thesbian shoes in 1997 for a production of The Seagull. But the closest I could find is him posing with Alf.

It was just a couple months ago that Hot Clicks broke the news of The Who performing at the Super Bowl this year. Well, not everyone is thrilled about the choice, especially since their lead guitar player, Pete Townshend, was on a United Kingdom registry of sex offenders for five years; his name was removed from the list in 2008.

Another Super Bowl Halftime Controversy

If you've got an extra $14, you can get a ticket to the Capital One Bowl between Penn State and LSU ... This is a good collection of Andy Samberg faces ... Raul Mondesi, the politician? It's true. ... The Oklahoma City Thunder girls look pretty good on Maxim.com ... ABC will be airing a show next year called Women Are Crazy, Men Are Stupid.

When I'm not filling in for Jimmy, I run SI's Vault, which has every story SI has written in the magazine's 55-year history. I also have a Twitter account that you should follow because every day I post old and embarrassing photos of athletes. Among today's gems are Bobby Knight hunting in the woods, Bill Cowher when he was a just another player on the Steelers and Isiah Thomas and Bill Laimbeer having fun in the bath. If you still need your Jimmy Traina fix this week, follow him on Twitter here.

Jimmy took time off from his precious vacation (watching Friday Night Lights reruns and eating cereal) to send in this video, which he referred to as "f---ing awesome." And I agree. You got to hand it to the Basketball Jones blog. The dudes are funny, creative and don't mind embarrassing themselves for a good laugh.

NBA-Themed Christmas Carol of the Day

How bad are things for Tiger? You Been Blinded discovered this video of a recent production of Aladdin. And the genie is not afraid to take shots at Tiger's infidelity (fast forward to 1:10 mark).
