Alex Rodriguezhit his 600th career home run today. Judging from the photo above, A-Rod is telling the first base coach, "I don't know why I took so long." Anyway, the only interesting thing about Rodriguez reaching this milestone is that he hit the homer into Yankee Stadium's Monument Park, where, obviously, there are no fans. The YES Network, though, reported that if a fan had caught the ball, the Yankees were prepared to offer them a bunch of autographed stuff AND lunch with A-Rod and Cameron Diaz. It would've been fun to see how many Yankees fans would've tried to get the lunch changed from A-Rod to just about anyone else on the team.

Things here don't pick up until the 1:00 mark, but this 77-year-old woman attempts a 50-foot putt for $10,000. The announcer screams like Gus Johnson and goes in for sneaky kiss like Richard Dawson. (Thanks to Glen, of Orange, Calif., of Mike J., of Rockville, Md., for the link.)

Yesterday, I told you that the University of Georgia was ranked the No. 1 party school in America. Well, the Bulldogs' good fortune has come to an end because this video is now all over the Internet.
