Alex Rodriguezhit his 600th career home run today. Judging from the photo above, A-Rod is telling the first base coach, "I don't know why I took so long." Anyway, the only interesting thing about Rodriguez reaching this milestone is that he hit the homer into Yankee Stadium's Monument Park, where, obviously, there are no fans. The YES Network, though, reported that if a fan had caught the ball, the Yankees were prepared to offer them a bunch of autographed stuff AND lunch with A-Rod and Cameron Diaz. It would've been fun to see how many Yankees fans would've tried to get the lunch changed from A-Rod to just about anyone else on the team.
