The winner of the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness greeted his biggest fan at Pimlico before taking the second leg of the Triple Crown.

Formula One action

If you've ever wondered, as we have, what "Formula One" is, it appears to be some kind of mysterious liquid, like Grecian Formula or Baby Formula, that comes in a bottle. Here we have driver Lewis Hamilton applying some on an innocent bystander after winning the Spanish Grand Prix.

Judging by this dramatic action shot, Bayern Munich has embarked upon a rather dramatic youth movement. One of the club's little shavers put midfielder Thomas Muller to the test before a match against VfB Stuttgart at Allianz Arena in Munich.

Upper crust: Adam Jones of the Orioles air-mailed desert to Steve Clevenger, who produced the winning RBPIE in the tenth inning vs. the Houston Astros at Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore.

For what it's werth, the Washington Nationals rightfielder's beard is not rented. It's all too real...as is his apparent interest in <italics>Mean Girls</italics>.

Rihanna

If you haven't kept abreast of the news lately, Rihanna's Met Gala afterparty on May 5 was the source of a celebrated elevator scuffle between Jay-Z and his sister-in-law on May 5. While the dust settled, Rihanna was in her cups and chillin' at an NBA playoff game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center.

Serie A action

A Sampdoria fan who got carried away by her zeal ultimately got carried away by a steward after dashing onto the pitch during a match between her beloved squad and SSC Napoli at Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa.

The Jeter Farewell Merchandise Bonanaza continued in Flushing where the Yankee icon was presented with his number made from old Shea Stadium restroom tiles by the Mets' COO during a touching ceremony at Citi Field.

Petra Kvitova was forced to punt during her semifinal match against Simona Halep, who returned the ball for a thrilling 6-7 (4/7), 6-3, 6-2 triumph.

(<italics>Left to right</italics>) Dani Mathers, Carly Lauren, Kristen Nicole and Gemma Lee Farrell awaited the big announcement at Hugh Hefner's hovel in Holmby Hills, CA. The winner of the prestigious award was Kennedy Summers, 27, a Berlin-born, Virginia-raised model with a bachelor's degree in anthropology and a master's degree in health administration who intends in her copious spare time to become a plastic surgeon. A beach bum was spotted kicking around the event's final at Barra de Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro.

Nothing warms the heart of a humble peddler quite like a graffiti depicting Brazil's Neymar planting a farewell buss on the ghost of the "Maracanazo" (the nation's galling defeat by Uruguay in the 1950 World Cup final). The residents of Rio de Janeiro are already geeked about this year's World Cup that runs from June 12 to July 13.

In other bussing news, we have this here Austrian musician with a pair of obviously enthused cheerleaders during the big Gabalier -- Die grosse Volks-Rock'n'Roll-Show (very loosely translated from the original Deutsch as "The Disgusting People's Rock'n'Roll Show") press clambake in the German city of Fussen, which is right next to Fighten.

Pro Cycling action

Busses were arriving everywhere it seems, much to the astonishment of the UnitedHealthcare Team's Jonathan Clarke, who was awarded the Breakaway from Cancer Most Courageous Rider honor for his daring foray in Stage Four of the Amgen Tour of California from Monterey to Cambria.

National Rugby League action

Like we said, busses were arriving everywhere, even at the St. George Illawarra Dragons vs. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs round nine match at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

Wrasslin' action

Helen Maroulis of the U.S. pounced on and pinned Marcia Andrades of Venezuela in New York City's famed Times Square, where this kind of thing used to happen at all hours of the day and night back when it was an infamous high crime area. In this instance, the pair were among the potential Olympic athletes from the USA, Russia, Bulgaria, Venezuela and Canada who came to grapple with the big issues of the day as well as each other.

Rugby fan

An enlightened gentleman in London enjoyed a fine malted beverage during the Twickenham Sevens pool match. By the sound of it, billiards is part of the IRB Sevens World Series, which must also include baseball.

This week's puerile question: Is that a scepter in Raffi's pocket or is he just glad to see all them grinnin' ball girls after dispatching Kei Nishikori at the Mutual Madrid Open tournament?

Speakin' of ball girls. Lauren Bennett, Paula Van Oppen, Emmalyn Estrada, Simone Battle and Natasha Slayton kicked up a ruckus at 102.7 KIIS FM's 2014 Wango Tango at StubHub Center in LA.
