Be On SI: 60th anniversary cover

If you have ever wanted to be a part of a Sports Illustrated cover, now's your chance. Here's how.

This year, Sports Illustrated is celebrating its 60th anniversary. We are looking to share the spotlight with those who have kept SI at the forefront of sports: you. To be a part of SI's 60th anniversary cover, find a photo of yourself at a sporting event, with your favorite athlete, wearing your favorite team’s gear or even just playing a sport. Then submit it through Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag#BeOnSI, or email the photo to beonsicover@gmail.com.

When Sports Illustrated debuted in 1954, its first cover featured Milwaukee Braves star Eddie Mathews, Giants catcher Wes Westrum and umpire Augie Donatelli. In the 60 years since, our covers have featured countless sports stars – from rookies to Hall of Famers to Olympic hopefuls. There have been celebrities and even a few American presidents. We've even featured birds and beer.

And now, perhaps, you.

By submitting your photo, you agree that we may use it for the 60th anniversary SI cover and otherwise as permitted under and subject to our Terms of Use, which can be found at here.
