Former Olympic decathlon champion Bruce Jenner was unhurt in a three-vehicle Malibu crash that killed one person on Saturday, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials told the Associated Press.

The crash happened shortly after three p.m. ET, according to Sgt. Matt Dunn, who was unable to say whether Jenner was a driver or a passenger.

No information about the deceased was immediately available.

Jenner won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal.
