VIENNA (AP) Austrian skier Andrea Fischbacher is retiring, ending an 11-year career highlighted by winning Olympic super-G gold in 2010.

The 29-year-old Fischbacher says ''my motivation to keep giving everything for this sport isn't sufficient anymore.''

Fischbacher won bronze in super-G at the 2009 world championships in Val d'Isere, and beat Tina Maze and Lindsey Vonn to become Olympic champion in Vancouver the following year.

The Austrian had less success in recent seasons. She was left out of the Olympic team for Sochi but won the first race after the games - a downhill in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

It was the third and last World Cup victory for Fischbacher, who failed to score a top-10 result in 18 races last season and missed out on the worlds in Beaver Creek in February.
