Kyle Busch-Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Fight Was Pure Cinema

Tensions boiled over after the NASCAR All-Star Race.

The NASCAR All-Star Race at the venerable North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina Sunday night had a bit more competitive spirit than, say, the Pro Bowl as the fireworks continued in the garage area after the race between Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. First-lap tensions waited hours to be resolved and when they did fully boil over, expert cinematography and an incredibly rich melee developed.

Some vegetables before getting the sugar-rush of the resulting fight. Busch was mad at Stenhouse for pushing him against the wall during a three-wide situation and gave him a little love tap in return. Stenhouse saw things differently and eventually got sick of agreeing to disagree, hauling off with the first punch that caught Busch by surprise.

Then all heck breaks loose.

So much going on there. And analyzing it sort of takes away the pure joy of watching a situation escalate like that from the safety of a computer. Any resulting suspensions will have been earned.
