Bobcats' Ramon Sessions could miss a month with knee injury

The Bobcats announced Thursday that guard Ramon Sessions is expected to miss two-to-four weeks with a second degree MCL sprain in his left knee. The injury, which occurred during a 99-78 loss to the Nets on Wednesday night, will not require surgery. If Sessions misses two weeks, he will be sidelined for seven games. If he is out four weeks, he will miss Charlotte's next 14 games.

Sessions, 26, is averaging a career-high 14.4 points and 3.8 assists off the bench this season. He is set to make $5 million next season, the final year of a two-year deal he signed with the Bobcats.

Charlotte isn't particularly deep at the point guard position, although starter Kemba Walker plays 34.4 minutes per night. The Charlotte Observer reports that coach Mike Dunlap could turn to Reggie Williams to handle some of the ball-handling duties. Dunlap's backcourt rotation also includes Gerald Henderson, Ben Gordon and Jeffery Taylor.
