The NBA and Adidas have unveiled the 2014 All-Star Game jerseys, which feature sleeves for the first time. The uniforms -- red for the Western Conference, blue for the Eastern Conference -- will be worn during the All-Star Game, set for New Orleans on Feb. 16.

The Western Conference jersey is red with purple trim around the neck and on the shoulder. The jersey top features a bock "W" and the word "West" in red inside a purple "fleur-de-lis" logo on the chest, with a red star towards the bottom of the  graphic. The player's number will appear in purple on the left sleeve and "Nola 14" can be seen in a small purple patch on the right shoulder.

The Eastern Conference jersey is blue with bright green trim around the neck and on the shoulders. The jersey top features a block "E" and the word "East" in blue inside a green "fleur-de-lis" logo on the chest, with a blue star towards the bottom of the graphic. The player's number will appear in green on the left sleeve and "Nola 14" can be seen in a small blue patch on the right shoulder.

“Each year, we look forward to developing a unique on-court look for the players that pays homage to the host city and adds to the excitement of this highly anticipated game,” said Chris Grancio, Adidas's head of global basketball sports marketing, in a statement. “This year’s All-Star collection reflects New Orleans’ festive musical history while also providing the premium performance elements that NBA athletes have grown accustomed to.”

The "fleur-de-lis" logo is the official symbol of Louisiana, and it was also incorporated into the New Orleans Pelicans' new logo last year.

These jerseys continue Adidas's trend towards the short-sleeve style. Adidas unveiled its first sleeved jersey, a yellow Warriors look, in February 2013. A white sleeved Warriors jersey, an orange sleeved Suns jersey, and a light blue sleeved Clippers jersey followed. The apparel manufacturer then designed sleeved jerseys for all 10 teams that played on Christmas Day.
